Program Joaquin Turína: L'Oracion del Torero Riho Maimets: Sanctus Claude Debussy: String Quartet in G Minor Op. 10
Explore something old, something new, and something borrowed with the Ton Beau String Quartet. Debussy's famous string quartet is one of the favorites in the repertoire. Sanctus was written just a few years ago by Canadian-Estonian composer Riho Maimets using a unique blend of musical languages and sonic landscapes. And finally, La oracion del torero was originally written for lutes and arranged for string quartet by the composer, Spanish Impressionist Joaquin Turína. This beautiful program is not to be missed!
