Frequently Asked Questions: Mike Daisey and Reggie Watts Explain the Meaning of Life
Richard Hugo House presents, in association with Town Hall Seattle and Western Arts Alliance, "Frequently Asked Questions: Mike Daisey and Reggie Watts Explain the Meaning of Life" on Wednesday, September 3 at 8 p.m.
Our online world offers banks of cheerful answers to a customer's standard questions: "How do I change my password?" "How do I sync my phone with my thing?" "My computer has frozen. What do I do?" But what of the questions that come after work hours, or at 3am? Questions like, "Why is my pleasure so fleeting?" "Am I here for a reason?" "Why didn't I live up to my potential?"
Two of our freshest and funniest performers erstwhile Seattleites Mike Daisey (21 Dog Years, How Theater Failed America) and Reggie Watts (Maktub, Disinformation) will answer the other frequently asked questions in a show that combines improvisation and philosophy, performance and storytelling.
Tickets are $18/$15 for Richard Hugo House and Town Hall Seattle members, seniors and students.
