ViVoce Summer Concerts Presents: Blue as the Sky, A Summer Solstice Concert
Join Portland Revels at St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church for two June concerts by Portland Revels women's a capella vocal ensemble.
Celebrating sun, blue sky, and love, in folk songs from Armenia, Bulgaria, Finland, Croatia, Turkey, Czechoslovakia, England, and North America. Following ViVoce tradition, these folk and folk-based pieces capture the heartfelt roots of various regions and histories. We also present The Singing Place, by Joan Szymko, celebrated composer living in Portland, and works by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina.
