I Can Hear Music
LeGacy Productions presents it's first original, it's first musical and the first show featuring Sue LeGate. LeGate is joined by the very best of vocalists and musicians to tell the musical history of the famous songwriting location of the Brill Building in New York City. In 1958 singer/songwriter Bobby Darin hit it big with "Splish Splash I Was Taking a Bath". Darin took the money and rented cubicle office spaces at 1650 Broadway...the Brill Building. Bringing in a host of young songwriters, the Building itself became a musical song writing factory. Songwriters included Carole King, Neil Sedaka, Neil Diamond, Hal David, Burt Bacharach, Phil Spector and many more. In this unique review, LeGate and her husband Dave Halford, along with Gary Epps, Darryl Stines, John Basa, Kris Stepanian and Kristine Alcamo performs the songs that would become top hits of the 50's and 60's. "Be My Baby", "Then He Kissed Me", "To Know, Know, Know Her", "Locomotion", and "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow"..to name just a few of the almost three dozen hits in this fabulous show!!
