TND Presents: Border Oak
We welcome you to the inaugural 'Border Oak' dinner presented by the team who brought you Tuesday Night Dinner.
We are committed to the exploration and celebration of American Midland cuisine.
The American Midlands are a group of bioregions in and around the greater Midwest. At Border Oak, we will explore the diversity of food products and traditions from these regions. We will seek out products from the hills, streams, fields, lakes, and forests of the American heartland in order to celebrate our own regional terroir.
The name 'BORDER OAK' signifies one of the distinct bioregions of the American Midlands: the Oak Savanna. Oak savannas are an area of mixed forest and field, where the competing trees and grasses create a harmoniously balanced home for many types of edible flora and fauna.
