Indigo Magic: a hands on dye workshop
Join us as we honor the spirit of the Indigo plant and learn to work with it to dye cotton textiles. Well learn the basics of creating and maintaining all natural indigo vats. We will learn Shibori- resist dye methods to create beautiful and intricate designs and then dye the textiles in all natural indigo. Together well experience the magic of indigo as it transforms our textiles before our eyes. Each participant will receive 3 cloths to dye. Please come dressed in clothes that can get stained. All materials provided.

Erin Hanson is a Portland based Dye Witch. She is passionate about the healing power of artistic experimentation using all natural materials. She fosters reciprocal relationships with the plant spirits she works with. Her art is fostered by a rich and rewarding spiritual practice which allows for the inspiration to flow through her and is continuously fueled by her commitment to experimentation and innovation.

Refund Policy:
You can cancel your ticket up to 72hrs before class directly through brown paper tickets. email support@brownpapertickets if you can't figure it out. Please don't email Seagrape about it, we don't have access to your payment information. Materials need to be purchased ahead of time. No refund will be given to no-shows or for cancelations of less then 72 hours (3 days). No refund will be given to no-shows.
