¡OJALÁ! Get These Women to Cuba!
For the first time in its 33 year history, the Fiesta del Fuego music festival in Santiago de Cuba (July 3 - 9) is recognizing the talents of women percussionist and vocalists, most of whom will be from Cuba and other Caribbean countries. The women of ¡OJALÁ! intend to be there in July.
The women of ¡OJALÁ! are self-funding this trip and that's why they will be bringing their music together for the first time to this concert at the Montclair Women's Cultural Arts Club on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 7pm. They are hoping to raise enough to fund their trip to Cuba in July.
Producer Barbara Price and her production team are offering to produce this concert at her Montclair Arts Club, turning over all the ticket proceeds to the travel fund. We are all hoping that you will treat yourselves to this incredible concert. If you are able to go beyond the general admission of $35, we are offering special premium tickets at $500 each which includes premium concert seating and admission to a special Reception with the Musicians at 6pm before the concert in the Club Salon.
