MEDEA by Jeremy Menekseoglu
Chicago- Dream Theatre Company will continue its 2008/2009 season at its new theater with the world premiere play, MEDEA written by Chicago playwright Jeremy Menekseoglu. The show runs Thursday, July 24th through Sunday, August 24th, 2008 at Dream Theatre now located at 556 W 18th Street. Performances run Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00PM and Sundays at 7:00PM. Jeremy Menekseoglus MEDEA is a visceral reimaging of the classic tragedy that turns its focus to the childrens psycological trauma caused by divorce and abandonment.
MEDEA is the inagural production in Dream Theatre Companys new permanent space in the artistic East Pilsen neighborhood.
MEDEA is directed by Jeremy Menekseoglu and features the ensemble cast of Rachel Martindale, Giau Truong, Bil Gaines, Courtney Arnett, Anna Weiler, Amber Friendly, Audrey Flegel, Kinga Modjeska, Megan Merrill, Danielle Gennaoui and Jeremy Menekseoglu.
