Agua Clara Flamenco

This will be a magnificent evening of Flamenco music, song & dance. David McLean, an accomplished flamenco guitarist and composer, will be accompanied by flamenco dancers, Clara Rodriguez and Carola Zertuche & vocalist, Kina Mendez.

David McLean's musical wanderings converged in 1999 in Granada, Spain where he studied flamenco guitar, traditional dance and vocal accompaniment. Since moving back from Spain, David has performed in hundreds of flamenco shows, from local venues to stages throughout the United States and Europe.

Clara Rodriguez began training in classical Spanish dance and Flamenco as a child. She has performed as a soloist in international productions, including Jaipur Palace in India, Batalha Festival in Portugal and Valencia, Spain and in many popular local venues.

Carola Zertuche, the Artistic Director for Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco, has received numerous nominations and awards for her talents and contributions to flamenco in the Bay Area. Carola teaches flamenco dance and performs internationally.

Kina Mendez is steeped in the flamenco tradition. Her explosive, expressive presence on stage and her dynamic vocal range has made her a sought after performer both in Spain and the US.
