Making Movies You Can Afford
What could more fun in the summer than making your own movie?! Long Island-based filmmaker Glenn Andreiev is teaching a two-day class on what it takes to prepare, shoot, and complete a polished film. In the class, students will create their own films, working as directors, videographers, special effects persons. Using film clips, take home material and discussions, Mr. Andreiev will share his many years experience making films.
Among the topics covered in the class are:
- Putting together a screenplay and working business proposal - Finding the best talent, equipment, locations and facilities - How to shoot your film so you get the most out of your time & money and wind up with great looking footag - How to assemble and edit, build the soundtrack and get your film out of the can and into the theatre - Its just not a lecture! Program includes printed materials to take home, film clips, and more!
Glenn Andreiev is a graduate of New Yorks School of Visual Arts and has taught film making in many New York venues. He produced, directed and distributed six feature films and documentaries and has been featured on CNN and Court TV. His latest film, The Deed to Hell, was shot in Paris, Rome, and Greece and recently premiered at Cinema Arts Centre.
