Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Chris Garcia started his comedy career in the San Francisco Bay Area where he was named "A Comic To Watch" by the San Jose Mercury News, "One of the 7 Funniest People in San Francisco" by 7×7 Magazine, and "a Rising Comedic Star" by the SF Weekly. Chris is the Co-Founder of "The Business," San Francisco's highly-acclaimed weekly alternative comedy show.
Chris moved back to Los Angeles in the summer of 2012. Since then, he has appeared on WTF Live with Marc Maron, Holy F*ck, UCB, and The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail. In February of 2013, Chris was profiled as "A Comic's Comic" in Esquire Magazine.
Chris has had the honor of working with such comedians as Patton Oswalt, Bill Burr, Marc Maron, Maria Bamford, Reggie Watts, Aziz Ansari, Human Giant, The Kids in the Hall, Bobcat Goldthwait, and Robin Williams. His festival appearances include SF Sketchfest, The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, The Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, SXSW, Outside Lands, the Humboldt Comedy Festival, The San Francisco Literary Arts Festival, and the SF Comedy & Burrito Festival.
