May 29th will be a very special night for both the East Bay MET School's pioneering Arts Advisory and the Columbus Theatre. It is the public unveiling of a collaboration long in the works between the two forces. It began in the fall of 2012, when three eager MET School students were introduced to the beautiful wonderland that is the Columbus Theatre. Working with legendary booking agent and musician Bryan Minto, these MET interns became known as the "Minterns." Their relationship literally started from the ground up, scraping gum and paint off its grand floors. Gazing at the revival sign from underneath the illuminated marquee, the Minterns knew it was for the greater good.
