CLASSIC STAGES: Stage II (May 31-June 2)
If you're an emerging or professional actor, join us for Stage II (May 31 - June 2), where we'll work in-depth to mine the requirements of rhetoric, the true freedom of verse and the potential for character to be found therein.
Our approach to classical acting is incredibly practical. If you've seen a PAC show, then you know what to expect: An emphasis on language and genuine intention. The pursuit of clarity and specificity. No academic discussions here; just a moment-to-moment exploration of how the living, breathing characters of classical plays use language to its full extent.
Dates and Times: Friday, May 31 (6 pm - 10 pm) Saturday, June 1 (10 am - 6 pm) Sunday, June 2 (10 am - 4 pm)
Taught by PAC Resident Artists and acclaimed local actors Dan Hodge (director, TIMON OF ATHENS) and Krista Apple-Hodge (Lantern's HENRY V; PAC's CREDITORS).
