WindSync presents the concert finale of their 2012-13 season with new arrangements by Tracy Jacobson, Jack Marquardt and a special commission by Houston composer, Paul English. The group also explores new musical territory in a collaboration with percussionist Graeme Francis. After a heavy spring touring schedule, WindSync returns home to celebrate their partnership with the First Unitarian Universalist Church and the Houston arts community in a concert event for all ages.
A fresh and lively ensemble, WindSync uses standard and contemporary chamber music as a vehicle to explore new audiences and venues for classical music. Committed to community enrichment and adventurous programming, WindSync is revolutionizing the public's opinion of what a wind quintet can do.
