Antje Duvekot
We don't get a lot of East Coast artists this far South. But occasionally we get lucky, as in the case of Massachusetts artist Antje Duvekot. Antje often tours with folk great Ellis Paul and she has won numerous prestigious awards for her songwriting. She won Outstanding Folk Act in the Boston Music Awards. Antje was awarded top Songwriter in the Kerrvile New Folk Competition. And she won the Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Antje has produced eight albums and her song "Merry Go Round" was featured in a Super Bowl ad (how totally cool).
