TALLIS SCHOLARS SUMMER SCHOOL Opening Concert
The annual Tallis Scholars Summer School kicks off with a concert of early Anglican music in which the Tudor Choir is led by Tallis Scholars director Peter Phillips and joined by the TSSS tutors. ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The choir of 16 singers will include three current and former members of the Tallis Scholars, who, with Peter Phillips, will serve as tutors during the weeklong course. The purpose of the opening concert is to showcase Mr. Phillips and the tutors and to set the standard for singing that all course participants will work to achieve. The efforts of course participants will be featured in the course gala concert on Friday, July 26, also at St. James Cathedral.
