Bioluminescence (RESCHEDULED!)
Interested in watching tiny things grow and glow in a big way? The class will cover the basics of sterile culture and microbial growth kinetics through hands on culture splitting of bioluminescent dinoflagellets. While this is usually done with ecoli, ecoli don't light up when you shake them, so this is better. Participants will get to keep their new cultures, and, material permitting, receive a stable culture.
