THE ALAMO RUN!
The Alamo Run is the first annual 5k run/walk through Alamo California.
It will take place on the auto-free Iron Horse Trail and Danville Blvd. Registration/check-in at the trail entrance at 3299 Stone Valley Road in Alamo.
Proceeds from the run/walk will benefit the 43+ year-old Mt. Diablo Peace & Justice Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) located in Walnut Creek.
It is limited to the first 400 to sign up.
Walkers are welcome to sign-up and participate in this event. Bring your dogs (on leash) and baby strollers!
Following the run, participants will enjoy refreshments provided by the volunteers.
Sign up by June 20th and receive a t-shirt with the design of the run on it.
Winners in each male and female age division and fastest dog (on leash) and baby (in stroller) will be rewarded with gift certificates to local restaurants, stores and other local attractions.
This event is sanctioned by USA Track and Field.
