Georgetown Ballet presents Act II of The Nutcracker at the Alma Thomas Theater on the Southwestern University campus.
Georgetown Ballet's production will feature the beloved character of Clara, the spirited young girl around whom the ballet is centered. The curtain opens just after the battle has ended-- the Nutcracker has been injured in the fight with the Mouse King and Clara comes to his side. Soon, the Snow Queen appears out of the trees and whisks the two of them off to a wonderland of snow. And then, off to a kingdom made of candy!
