The Dickens Christmas Dinner
The world of Charles Dickens comes to life at Forty-Six! Join us on Sunday, December 9, at 6:00 PM for the Dickens Christmas Dinner. Guests will enjoy a multi-course Christmas meal straight out of "A Christmas Carol," complete with mincemeat pies and figgy pudding. The Victorian Voices will keep the evening merry and bright with carols and songs throughout, and your most gracious host will regale adults and children alike with a dramatic reading of everyone's favorite holiday ghost story. There'll be no humbugs at this party!
Tickets are available with and without wine pairings. Tickets for children 12 and under are half-price (but alas, no wine for them!)
Ticket price includes food, service charge, and Brown Paper Tickets service fees; tax will be added at the end of your transaction. Tickets may be purchased up to 48 hours before event start time.

**NOTE** We had originally intended to serve roast goose as was mentioned in several promotions for the dinner. Unfortunately, goose is in short supply this year and unavailable at reasonable prices. We have switched to turkey, which during Victorian times was the traditional bird served at the tables of the wealthy. We apologize for any confusion.

Why tickets instead of reservations?
Tickets allow us to guarantee your reservations and better plan for guests. By eliminating no-shows and requiring pre-payment, we can offer a great deal more than would otherwise be possible.
What does the ticket include?
Your ticket is inclusive of the special Christmas meal, entertainment, 20% service charge, and Brown Paper Tickets service fees. North Carolina sales tax of 7% is added at the end of your transaction. Tickets with wine pairings include three pours specifically paired with their individual courses.
Can I purchase additional drinks on the night of the event?
Yes! We will be offering additional pours by the glass of any wine from the pairings. Our bar will also be open 30 minutes prior to seating.
Why is a service charge added?
Since we are not billing our guests at the time of the dinner, we are adding a 20% service charge at the time of purchase.
Can I get a refund once purchased?
Tickets are non-refundable once sales have closed on the Brown Paper Tickets website.
Do you take walk-ins?
No. Entry is ticket-only, and all tickets must be purchased no later than 48 hours before the event.
Can I call for tickets or purchase them at the restaurant?
Yes! We will be happy to take your ticket order over the phone or in person at the restaurant. However, all fees and services charges will still apply, as well as ticket sales cutoff deadlines.
