THE EAST CUT Come hear about major developments helping to reinforce and create the emerging East Cut neighborhood. Carl Shannon of Tishman Speyer and Gino Canori from the Related Company will describe their respective activities along Folsom Street. Folsom is envisioned as the shopping street for this fast growing part of the Transbay redevelopment area. You will also hear about public benefits each project is providing from affordable housing to a network of new open spaces and streetscape improvements.

BIOGRAPHIES
CARL SHANNON, Senior Managing Director, Regional Executive, Tishman Speyer
Mr. Shannon is responsible for Tishman Speyer's portfolio in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Pacific Northwest. He is charged with overseeing the development of various signature developments, such as Lumina, The Infinity and Mira, three condominium projects adjacent to San Francisco's waterfront, and three office buildings at Foundry Square III, 222 Second Street and 555 Mission in the central business district. Mr. Shannon is also a member of the Investment and Management Committees. Before joining Tishman Speyer in 1998, he worked for both GE Capital and The Prudential Insurance Company of America. Mr. Shannon received an AB, magna cum laude, and graduated with an MBA, with high honors, from Harvard University.
GINO CANORI, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer, Related California Residential
As Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer for Related California Residential, Mr. Canori leads Related California's market-rate, luxury and mixed-income residential development throughout California. He is currently overseeing a $1.8 billion pipeline of 1,500 multifamily units and 500,000 square feet of commercial space located in San Francisco and Los Angeles. His responsibilities encompass all aspects of the development and design process, including financial analysis, acquisition, planning, entitlements, financing (both public and private sources), debt, equity and joint venture agreements, budgeting and scheduling, construction, and marketing.
Since joining Related in 2001, Mr. Canori has been directly responsible for the growth of the Related California pipeline, including the development of 4,000 multifamily units with development costs in excess of $3 billion, and served as the Project Executive for Ocean Avenue South in Santa Monica, a 1,000,000 square foot mixed-income development of luxury condominiums, affordable apartments and retail, a key component to the revitalization of the City's Civic Center and the 2016 Urban Land Institute Global Award for Excellence Winner.
Mr. Canori is a graduate of the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, serves on the Executive Committee for the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
