SATC 10-Year Anniversary Benefit Luncheon
For almost 10 years, Scandinavian American Theater Company has fulfilled their mission to bring Nordic perspectives to the US and helped discover a new generation of Scandinavian playwrights and artists Come and celebrate with us!
We are excited to announce that our 10-Year Anniversary Benefit Luncheon on December 8th will take place at the stunning venue Papillon in Midtown Manhattan.
Our guests will enjoy an abundance of excellent food that Papillon is known for. We also have a special performance in store and we will be presenting our first annual Nordic Award to our special guests Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones) and Lena Endre (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). At the event our guests will also have the opportunity to purchase our Benefit Gift Boxes with exciting surprise gifts like day passes to Pure Yoga studio, and many more. We will be announcing more details as we get closer to the event.
SATC WILL PRESENT OUR FIRST ANNUAL NORDIC AWARD The annual award is in recognition of artists who through their exceptional work have made significant contributions to strengthening the cultural relationship between the Nordic countries of Norway, Finland, Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Greenland and the United States.
The inaugural two Nordic Award 2018 recipients are awarded to Danish actor, producer, screenwriter and playwright Nikolaj Coster-Waldau for his contribution to film and television, and to Sweden's Lena Endre for her work as an actor and director in film, television, and theater.
