DICKENS' ACTING STYLE! Dickens simply used his voice, made facial expressions, gestured and moved his body to CREATE ALL THE CHARACTERS! LePage will do the same -- accents and all -- plus sound effects, too! From Scrooge to Tiny Tim, from Marley's Ghost to Mrs. Cratchit, there's howls and growls, bangs and bongs, a DANCE WITH A SONG, lively laughter and heartfelt tears.
BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE, PLAYFUL AND INTERACTIVE! LePage's love of improvisation not only means that he may engage you in conversation, but also involve you in other ways, too! Since he likes to experiment and believes in seizing the moment, even he doesn't always know what's going to happen next. And for this event, he'll sprinkle a little history about Dickens when came to Boston to perform in 1867. All this not only makes each performance UNIQUE, but also keeps them fresh and EXCITING, spontaneous and FULL OF SURPRISES, too!
MINCE TARTS, WARM SPICED CIDER, AND A SPECIAL GIFT! This performance will also include a cup of warm cider and Parker House mince tarts, plus at least one special gift will be given to some audience member during the performance, too!
ALL PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT THE GREATER BOSTON FOOD BANK, the largest hunger-relief organization in New England, working to help end hunger in eastern Massachusetts. This special event is being hosted at the Parker House Hotel and is fully sponsored by OMNI Hotels & Resorts, Parker House/Boston.

DOORS OPEN 30 MINUTES BEFORE EACH PERFORMANCE.
WALK DIRECTLY TO THE "PRESS ROOM" located on the second floor above the main lobby entrances to gain admission and be seated.
PARKING: BOSTON COMMON GARAGE is clean, well-lit, affordable and a short walk to the venue. Enter from Charles Street, which splits Boston's big downtown greenspace area into the Public Garden on one side, the Common on the other. And please allow time to secure parking and walk to the venue. ALSO, Omni PARKER HOUSE HOTEL Valet parking is available, simply drive up to the School Street entrance and speak to the doorman, maximum clearance for vehicles is 6'7" in their garage.
