This play is written by Aria Acevedo. A magical realist play written in poetic vignettes about a young girl coming in to her own identity, as the women in her family confront generational trauma after her estranged aunt returns home to reveal family secrets, and call into question the family blessing, and if it is a blessing at all.
This play explores generational trauma, and vulnerability in everyday life. There is a use of strong language, and implied misogyny, homophobia, and familial abuse.
