We follow Jack, a highly intelligent serial killer (what else its von Trier) through 5 incidents and are introduced to the murders that define Jacks development. We experience the story from Jacks point of view where each murder is a work of art. His goal is the ultimate artwork: A collection of all his killings manifested in a House that he builts.
