The Hump Day Improv Jam

Laugh your way into the end of your week! Your host Cat Dance presents a night of improvised comedy. Performers are randomly assigned teams, then make up short plays on the spot in a Harold Jam format. Come out and play, or simply sit back and watch the magic unfold. This Shelton Theater Lighthouse production aims to provide an evening open to improvisers and audience members alike to let loose and shake things up. Dont just come to a show, be in it! (or stay seated if that strikes your fancy. no pressure.)

Each evening will feature a few Harold Jam sets open to audience members to participate. If you are an improviser looking to jam and keep things fresh, this is the night for you! Want to learn more about improv? Or perhaps just have a couple of drinks and laugh the night away? See you there!

Over the last four years Cat Dance has performed at Stage Werx, Piano Fight, The Exit and many other theaters in San Francisco and the Bay Area as well as Improv Festivals in Los Angeles, Sacramento and other cities. They perform long form improv including variations of the Harold and the Mono formats.
