Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451
Back in 1953, Ray Bradbury carefully crafted one of the world's most famous dystopian futures. Now celebrating its 60th anniversary, Otherworld Theatre presents Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 in tandem with the Ray Bradbury Festival. Set in a futuristic American city, books are illegal and firemen burn any house that contains them. Once a faithful fireman, Montag begins to question his mundane existence and the ethics of his mission. Influenced by the strange 16 year old girl Clarisse, Montag wonders what secrets are kept in the books he has vowed to destroy.
