Event
A Celtic Magnificat
We invite you as we celebrate the musical legacies of two of historys greatest musicians: Turlough OCarolan, Irelands most famous harper and composer, who lived from 1670-1738; and Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750, widely considered the greatest composer of classical choral and instrumental work. We will perform Bachs Magnificat in D with Baroque orchestra. Our Irish set features contemporary songs as well as traditional carols, jigs and reels; with Seumus Gagne on Celtic harp, Tom Creegan on Uilleann pipes, Randal Bays on Irish fiddle as well as Irish Step Dancers.
