Summer Weeklong Fleet Inquiry Institute 2013
This weeklong workshop runs 9am to 3pm daily from July 29-August 2. Join other teachers from throughout Southern California and experience inquiry as a learner, compare different approaches to teaching hands-on science, explore a variety of questioning strategies, rework current lesson plans to be more student-centered and strengthen your argument for using inquiry to teach science. This workshop is based upon the Fundamentals of Inquiry professional development program developed by the Exploratorium, and incorporates the Next Generation Science Standards.
This is a FREE weeklong program which requires registering to reserve your spot since space is limited!
The Fleet Inquiry Institute is the teacher professional development arm of the Education Department at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center. It one of the programs of the San Diego Science Project.
Preference will be given to groups of teachers applying from the same school site.
