KGNU Presents: An Evening with Noam Chomsky - Denver Simulcast
World-renowned author and speaker Noam Chomsky will Skype into Denver for an exclusive talk regarding the outcome of the 2018 midterm elections and what the election reveals about our future.
Chomsky is one of the most-cited scholars in history. He has influenced a broad array of academic fields and is widely recognized as a paradigm-shifter who sparked a major revolution in the field of linguistics. Noam Chomsky's ideas have proved significant within the anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist movements. Following his opposition to U.S. wars in Indochina and multiple arrests for his activism, Chomsky was placed on then-President Nixons enemies list.
Doors are at 6 PM. Talk will start at 7 PM.
Following Chomskys Skype appearance, David Barsamian of Alternative Radio will moderate a Q & A session from a simulcast location in Boulder.
Limited seats, reservations are strongly encouraged.
