Join us as we celebrate mothers along with all the important women in our lives. BECAUSE I SAID SO is a gala fundraiser to support the non-profit mission of Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre.
New to this year's gala is an affordable cabaret-only option!
The gala celebration begins at 5:30pm with drinks and hors d'oeuvres. This is your first chance to peruse and bid on items in our silent auction. A gourmet buffet dinner is served at 6:30pm. At 8pm the Dreamcatcher ensemble will perform an original cabaret entitled "Because I Said So!," featuring songs and readings about moms. Dessert and coffee are served at 9:15, open to all guests.
Dreamcatcher's annual gala helps fund artistic programming throughout the year, including mainstage productions, new play readings and outreach for students and seniors. It is also an opportunity for the audience and the ensemble to gather in a social setting and celebrate the past year's work together.
NOTE: this event takes place at Summit's Elks Lodge at 40 Maple Street, 2nd floor in Summit, NJ. The facility is wheelchair accessible. Parking is available on the street and in nearby municipal lots. All parking is free after 6pm.
