Miss Black Florida USA Scholarship Pageant 2019
4 The ART of Talent and Simply Rho Enterprises is pleased sponsor the Miss Black Florida USA Scholarship Pageant. The Board of Directors of the Miss Black Florida USA encourages young woman, 18-27 years of age, to strive to exceed their goals and accomplish their dreams through participation in this worthwhile program.
As part of the Miss Black USA Organization, the Miss Black Florida USA Scholarship Pageant is proud to contribute to one of the largest sources of scholarship opportunities for black women and teens in the world.
The title winner will compete for the prestigious title of Miss Black USA and will have the opportunity to earn scholarships towards furthering her education. In addition, throughout her Year of Service, she will have the chance of networking with the people of our great state/nation and promote a platform, or critical cause that is near to her heart.
Participating in the Miss Black Florida USA/Miss Black USA system not only helps young women pay for college and prepare for a career, it also provides an opportunity to gain additional life experience, work on issues of importance to society enhance personal and professional skills and develop performance-related and other talents.
We are also pleased to sponsor Miss Black Florida Talented Teen and the Princess Program. Miss Black Florida Talented Teen, 14-17 years of age is a preliminary title in the Miss Black USA Talented Teen system, the Little Sister Pageant to Miss Black Florida USA and Miss Black USA. The Princess Program is designed to introduce young ladies, ages 5 through 13 years of age, to the Miss Black Florida USA and Miss Black USA program before they reach competition age. It also is to help them understand that Miss Black USA is not just a dream but something they can begin preparing for at a young age. It allows them to work closely with the Miss Black Florida USA contestants who will serve as their role models and mentors through community service.
Both Miss and Teen will compete at their respective National Level Pageants and compete for the crowns of Miss Black USA and Miss Black USA Talented Teen.
