Burns & Kristy Band

The Burns & Kristy Band is, Indie-folky-pop with a spiritual, whimsical attitude. Terry Burns and Ron Kristy met in Nashville, after many years as independent musicians and singer/songwriters. Married in 2004, they returned to Ithaca where they launched their debut CD in 2012 to rave reviews. The single "Blue Paper Boat" from that CD was a Top 3 Finalist in the International Acoustic Music Awards.

Terry Burns is a former staff writer for publishers such as EMI and her songs have been recorded by numerous artists, including The Burns Sisters Band. Ron Kristy has been composing for Film/TV and his music can be heard everyday around the globe on shows such as 20/20, "Good Morning America, and Dancing with the Stars, to name just a few.

Rounding out the quartet are multi-instumentalists, Rich DePaolo and Doug Robinson. Rich has been a prominent figure in Ithaca's music scene for many years and in many genres. Doug as well, and tours frequently in Europe and Canada with the Burns Sisters Band, British guitar virtuoso, Martin Simpson and others, performing ragtime, latin, blues, gypsy-swing and jazz.
