Sam's Castle Tours 2019

The castle, built in 1908, boasts a long colorful history. Come and take a guided room-by-room historical tour led by Bridget Oates, the author of the Sams Castle book. The 1.5 hour event includes light refreshments and time to enjoy the whimsy of this seaside treasure.

The monthly tours are $30/per guest and the High Tea & Tour events are $50/per guest. Tickets are limited, so please reserve early.

Signed books are available for purchase online with your tour ticket or at the time of your tour.

*Please no spike heels to preserve the original floors
*No outside food or drink

We have plenty of parking. The best lot to use is just across from the castle front gate, filled with tanbark. Doors will open at the time of your tour. (Please note, there is no shuttle).

Arriving at the Castle
Mirador Terrace is steep, so to avoid the big hill on your approach:

Start on Mirador Terrace and make your first LEFT on Carmel Avenue
then, turn RIGHT on Vallejo Terrace, and finally,
turn RIGHT on San Pablo Terrace.
