Tom Brosseau & Sean Watkins
Saturday, June 1 at 8 pm, the Plaza Playhouse Theater and KCSB are pleased to present Tom Brosseau & Sean Watkins, with special guests Z. Berg and Shelly Short in concert as part of their West Coast Summer Tour 2013. Tickets are $15 General Admission or 2 for $25.00.
Tom Brosseau is an American musical storyteller and guitarist, born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Biography Fat Cat Records artist Tom Brosseau tours and performs in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Taiwan. In the Los Angeles area his home club is Largo. His song "How to Grow a Woman from the Ground" was covered by Chris Thile, who released a 2006 album of the same name.
Sean Watkins started out playing with prodigious bluegrass trio Nickel Creek, along with his sister Sara Watkins (fiddle) and their friend Chris Thile (mandolin). At the age of 16, he qualified for the National Flatpicking Championship. He released three solo albums during the tenure of Nickel Creek.
