Zodiac Music Academy & Festival in NYC
On November 3rd, 2018, at 7:30pm at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music:
The Zodiac Music Academy & Festival, established in 2013 under the leadership of artistic director Kliment Krylovskiy of the renowned Zodiac Trio, is coming to NYC to celebrate its past participants, faculty members, and their shared passion for chamber music! Please join us for a evening of wonderful music and showcasing of talented artists who have soaked up the beauty of the French Riviera during the past festivals.
On offer - music for winds, strings and piano with guest artists Francine Kay (piano faculty), Sergio Pallottelli (flute faculty), Natasha Loomis (flute alumni), Tyler Hsieh (clarinet alumni), Alex Morano (clarinet alumni) and music by Kevin Zhe (composition alumni).
The evening will also see the World Premiere of Andrew List's new work for the Zodiac Trio, a sequel to Stravinsky's "A Soldier's Tale" - "The Devil's Final Challenge", which finds the Devil retired and living Queens, about to take one his final challenger - a klezmer clarinetist from Brooklyn!
