A Christmas Carol
Red Curtain Foundation presents a unique version of the classic holiday favorite, "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens.
Playwright Michael Paller brings us to Charles Dickens' home -- actually his attic -- as friends and family members gather to celebrate Christmas Eve. Asked to tell a story, the legendary writer decides that if he is to work on Christmas Eve, so is everyone else... and he assigns roles to each party guest that will allow them to perform a story he has begun to write. Only 10 actors bring the traditional Christmas ghost story to life, each playing multiple roles with minimal costume and set changes. The result is an unexpected air of spontaneity and fun, all while being faithful to the original Dickens tale.
Family-friendly performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m., for the three-weekend run November 30-December 16.
