Dear World/Dear Newburyport Portrait Party, "Get Your Portrait Taken at the Evening Party"
The Actors Studio of Newburyport, with the support of the Mayor's Office and the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce is bringing Robert X. Fogarty of New Orleans, founder of Dear World, to Newburyport to capture the essence of the city and what matters most to its citizens.

Robert's portraits are uniqueindividuals, or small groups write their message to the world on their skin in dry erase marker. During our Dear World/Dear Newburyport experience on June 8th, 300+ portraits will be taken and compiled into a video presentation. The video will be shown at a reception and screening at City Hall on June 15th. An exhibit of photographs is planned for City Hall and businesses citywide during the summer months. Like the Actors Studio's mission, to encourage full creative expression and develop the art form and the individual, the intention of the Dear World/Dear Newburyport project is to engage the community in a deeper conversation about what matters to each of us and to shine the light on individuals, build community, and invite full expression.
