5th Annual Pig Roast at Goose Island Beer Company
Slow Food Chicago is back for a 5th year with our signature pig roast at Goose Island Beer Company, this year featuring Duroc and Duroc crossbred hogs, all raised on pasture, from Gunthorp Farms in Lagrange, Indiana.

Confirmed chefs/participants:

Pork:
Paul Fehribach, Big Jones
Michael Dean Reynolds, Bread & Wine
Andrew Hroza, Goose Island Brewpub
Beverly Kim, Top Chef alum and Kendall College instructor
Rob Levitt, Butcher & Larder
Jared van Camp, Old Town Social/Nellcote

Dessert:
Sarah Mispagel, Nightwood

Vegetable dish:
Ryan Stevens, Handlebar

Admission price includes a commemorative glass from which to drink a selection of Goose Island beers while CHIRP independent radio keeps us groovin' with their tunes.

All of that would be enough, wouldn't it? Yet, while you are satiating your appetite and swayin' along to the music, you'll be helping to raise funds for programs for Slow Food Chicago, a not-for-profit organization. Have fun! Eat well! Do good!

Slow Food Chicago is grateful to Goose Island Beer Company for its sponsorship of this annual event. Additional support provided by Gunthorp Farms and Whole Foods.

As always, this event is 21 + over (please bring I.D's) and will be held rain or shine. Once tickets are purchased there are no refunds.
