An Artistic All-Star Revue - A Benefit for the Healey School, Somerville's progressive public school
Come join us for an afternoon of laughs, great music and the World Premier of the play "When Guilt Moved In" - All of this to benefit the Healey School, Somerville's progressive public school.
The Artistic All-Star Revue features some of Boston's Best including Jimmy Tingle, Tim Gearan and a special appearance by Jennifer Kimball.
Jimmy Tingle is regarded as one of the top social and political humorists in America. He has worked as a stand-up comic, producer, writer, actor, filmmaker and commentator in several mediums from the early 1980's to the present day.
Tim Gearan is known for his soulful song-writing, masterful guitar playing, and his sweet, husky voice. A mainstay of the vibrant local music scene, Tim performs regularly in Cambridge/ Somerville with a crackerjack band and is said to be "just too talented to remain a local hero" by The Boston Globe.
One of the Healey's own parents, talented writer Karin Anell, will stage the world premiere of her play "When Guilt Moved In" as part of the revue. A tragicomedy in one act about the angst of a modern mom, the play will also feature performances by the talented teachers and parents from the Healey community.
