Live at the Fries - Susannah Mars Valentine Cabaret "Heart and Soul"

Susannah Mars brings her Valentine Cabaret - "Heart and Soul" to Live at the Fries for four performances. Last year, Susannah's critically acclaimed "Mars On Life; Holiday Edition" ran for six weeks at Artists Repertory Theatre, in Portland, Oregon.
Susannah Mars is a Portland musical theatre and cabaret icon. Bob Hicks of the Oregonian writes, Intelligent sentiment and artistic restraint balanced with warmth, wit and great pipes." Margie Boule, of the Oregonian states, "Mars [is] one of the best singers in the Northwest; it's the emotional presence she brings to every note and every word." Susannah has been honored with five Portland Drama Critics awards: four for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical. In addition to her theater and cabaret work, Susannah has soloed with several symphonies, including the Oregon Symphony, Norman Leyden conducting.
Tango dancers J Abling and Jennifer Olson will join the Thomas Rheingans Ensemble to lead off the concert.
