Gabe Noah with Nate Abshire
Gabe started his writing career as an aspiring novelist, until he figured out that its easier to write jokes than well rounded characters, and applause breaks come along more often than three books deals. If there is any truth to the old adage that you write what you know, than Mr. Noah inhabits a twisted world indeed.
Drawing from such disparate sources as pop culture, the tribulations of the world of retail sales, and the darkest recesses of his warped imagination. His ability to double audiences over with laughter while simultaneously attacking their sensibilities clearly marks him as one of the most original comedic voices of the vibrant Minneapolis comedy scene.
In 2009, Nate Abshire took the stage at his first open mic at a bar in Minneapolis to spite a girl that wouldn't return his calls. The next year, he placed second in the "Funniest Person in the Twin Cities" contest. In 2012, he made the semifinals of the "Seattle International Comedy Competition." Comedy fans across the country love his sardonic wit, keen writing, and dark turn of mind. The girl still won't return his calls.
