William Shakespeare's Hamlet presented by Theatre Coup d'Etat
Theatre Coup d'Etat has brought both classic and contemporary pieces of theatre to the Twin Cities that remind it's audiences of the very nature of the human condition it's strengths and it's vulnerabilities and where the two meet. There may be no other piece of theatrical literature that exposes those strengths and vulnerabilities better than Shakespeare's Hamlet. Moreover, the story has a time-tested balance of grace and fortitude that rivals landmark modern thrillers. Hamlet is recognized as one of the finest pieces of Western art and is revisited and reused by thespians and academics alike throughout the world.
Theatre Coup d'Etat's production of Hamlet will be ensemble directed, lead by founding members Peter Beard and James Napoleon Stone, both of whom will also be performing on stage as well.

Hamlet will run from May 22nd through 24th, May 29th through May 31st, June 1st, 2nd and June 5th through June 9th at 8 p.m. The American Swedish Institute is located at 2600 Park Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55407. Tickets are $20 general admission for Wednesday through Saturday performances and pay-what-you-can for Sunday performances. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at www.theatrecoupdetat.com.
