First, take a journey into the world of food fermentation with the founder of The Fermenter's Club. Austin will teach you how to make your own Sauerkraut and then you'll do it in class and take a jar home! He will also go over all the necessary info to get you going with fermenting many other foods, and show you how to make the paste for Kimchi. This is a hands-on workshop.
Then join Neil the following Friday to learn how to make your own batch of Kombucha! You'll get the low down on the science behind brewing. You'll see how easy, cheap and fun it can be to make different flavors and endless brews! Sample his brew and purchase a brewing kit, but a kit isn't necessary to start. You'll receive a FREE starter culture (SCOBY) to get you brewing right away ($10 value).
And to wrap it all up, Kathy Lynch, the Weston A. Price Temecula Valley chapter leader, will teach you how eating nutrient-dense and carefully-prepared foods, will cultivate an optimal state of health. This class will cover how-to's plus some samples and recipes for cooking with sprouted whole grains, beans, nuts and seeds, yogurt, kefir, fermented foods, and bone broths. She'll explain why these techniques are so important and show you how simple it is to incorporate into daily life. You don't want to miss this one!
