Using Permaculture at Home: Nature's Patterns to Build Your Best Garden Ever!
What is Permaculture? There are so many buzzwords being thrown around today, 'local', 'sustainable', 'green'; and permaculture is no exception on the list of environmental "green terminology". Come to a hands-on workshop with an experienced local permaculturalistand learn all about the ethic of "care for people, care for Earth" that permaculture seeks to embody. We will be discussing the principles of permaculture and basics of using permaculture tools to grow more of what you love, make the soil healthier, invite more wildlife into your yard, build community, and so much more! *Bring a basic sketch or dimensions of a yard or garden project with you. You will leave with the beginnings of a permaculture-based design for your project and the basis for building your knowledge and experience with permaculture! Bryan Krueger is the owner of Heart of Green Ecological Services (www.SustainableLandscapeSpokane.com) offering Permaculture-based landscape design, install, and maintenance, as well as a host of other yard and garden services. He has a Master's degree in teaching and has been working with sustainable landscaping, gardening, and farming methods for over 10 years. Bryan is excited to share his knowledge and experience in the interest of strengthening local community in Spokane and the Greater Northwest!
