Fat Garden Party

The Fat Garden Party is a fundraiser to help create a beautiful and functional public greenspace for Muskegon area residents living in and visiting downtown to enjoy. Fatty Lumpkins Sandwich Shack has purchased the land and partnered with The Watermark Center to win the People's Choice Award for The Michigan Municipal League's "Let's Save Michigan" Placemaking Contest. We've already received the support of our neighbors at C.W. Marsh and Knoll as well as some great Muskegon businesses & attractions and the City of Muskegon.

The event will feature live music from The Crane Wives and Mux Rec, Chinese auction, silent auction, and other ways to win some great prizes. Stay tuned for more details on entertainment and be sure to check the Fatty facebook page regularly to find out what some of these great prizes will be.

Fatty Lumpkins will be selling sandwiches and other goodies as well as cool Fatty merchandise at the party. Tickets for the event will be $6 but we're hoping that some are able to round up to $10 to help support our project. 100% of all food sales, Fatty merchandise sales, auction proceeds, and contest revenue goes directly to help fund the project.

Our budget for The Fat Garden is $35-$40K so we're hoping to put a dent in that number and at the same time have a great time with all of our friends & neighbors! What a perfect way to kick off the spring than with a garden party.....A Fat Garden Party that is!!!
