Drinking Lessons - Gin with Sun Liquor's Erik Chapman
From Ernest Hemingway to James Bond to Snoop Dogg, there are many famous gin drinkers. Gin's piney and botanical blend lends itself to just about any cocktail you can imagine, making it one of the most popular liquors throughout history. Just in time for spring, this spirit, which derives its predominant flavor from juniper berries, is featured in the Sorrento's May drinking lesson. Erik Chapman, head distiller and bar manager at Capitol Hill's Sun Liquor, will be instructing us on how to make some delicious and refreshing gin cocktails using Hedge Trimmer gin, which is Chapman's creation (and distilled in a 200 year old Scottish still might we add!).
The Sorrento's gin drinking lesson will feature cocktail instruction, tastings, and small bites provided by the Hunt Club. See you there!
