Sweet Suspense: War of the Worlds
SEE THE WORLD DESTROYED BEFORE YOUR OWN EARS! New Edgecliff Theatre tingles your spine and tempts your sweet tooth once again with its 2nd annual Halloween event. This unique theatrical experience takes you back to the Golden Age of radio, when the listeners imagination could run wild. A Martian invasion is reported, and were taken live to the scene to hear first-hand accounts from eye witnesses of the invading alien army. Live and for one night only, actors and sound effect artists re-visit the Orson Wells show that caused mass hysteria with its first airing in 1938. Join us for an evening of terrific terror, and then stay for a sampling of deserts from excellent Cincinnati restaurants. Halloween never tasted so good!
