In need of fulfillment, four housewives are desperately searching for change in their lives. Bev, Wendy, Jetta and Carol are dealing with unruly teenagers, hopeless husbands, divorce, and money woes. The answer to their problems? Form a rock group and enter the Battle of the Bands at a local punk club! Funny and feverishly entertaining, this rock musical puts a satirical twist on 1980s feminism with numbers like Man from Glad and Eat Your F*$#ing Cornflakes!.
