Wine Tasting Class at the Alliance Francaise!
Bonjour tout le monde!
Registration is now open for "Les Vins de France: Summer Intensive" at the Alliance Francaise!
"Les Vins de France" has been expanded into two, eight-week courses that will provide insight into the vast and varied world of French wine. In addition to learning the basics of wine tasting and production methods, the course will cover the historical and cultural significance of wine in France -- all in the context of learning the French language. The course is limited to a select number of students in order to create an intimate learning atmosphere. The subject matter is highly specialized and geared to learning about wine and teaching the French language and therefore is taught in both French and English so as to make the course as educationally enriching as possible.
Due to popular demand, we are now expanding our class into two parts. Register for one or both classes!
We will also visit great San Francisco wine venues like, Terroir, La Cave D'Amelie, Hotel Biron, and Bubble Lounge!
PART I: Bourgogne, Rhone, Bordeaux, Champagne
Thursday Evenings, 7 :00pm 8 :30pm

PART II : Loire Valley, Massif Centrale, Languedoc-Roussillon, Juras,
Tuesday Evenings, 7 :00pm 8 :30pm
** Starting July 1st**
- Tuition for 8 lectures, *including wine*: $295
** Students with particular interests in certain regions have the option to choose a partial enrollment, with a 2 class minimum requirement for a pro-rated fee
*** Introductory lecture will be held at the Alliance
